Explore Sevenfriday
Sevenfriday took the shapes of factory machinery and put them on the wrist: rounded-square cases, layered dials, and surfaces that suggest gauges rather than conventional watch faces. Founded in Switzerland in 2012, the brand arrived with a design language that felt closer to industrial equipment than traditional Swiss watchmaking. These are broad, architectural watches, with much of their character coming from the depth beneath the crystal.
The P-Series is the clearest starting point. Its hands sit over a multilevel dial, while an opening exposes the automatic movement’s balance wheel—not a tourbillon, despite the visual drama. Many models use the Japanese Miyota 82S7, a practical engine behind an unusually elaborate display. Different finishes shift the mood from workshop steel to warmer, copper-toned machinery.
The M-Series takes the instrument-panel idea further, replacing conventional hands with rotating discs. The V-Series explores additive hour reading, asking you to combine indications rather than glance at a single hand. Both make reading the dial part of the experience.
