BRM approaches watchmaking with a racing mechanic’s eye: drilled metal, exposed fasteners, and bright accents that could have come straight from the pit lane. Founded in 2003, the brand made motorsport its central language rather than an occasional dial theme. Its watches are recognizable by their piston-like cases, separately attached lugs, and perforated hands—details that give even a simple three-hander the look of a small mechanical assembly.

The V12-44 chronograph is the clearest expression of that approach. Its substantial case, prominent pushers, and instrument-like dial put the stopwatch function front and center. Contrasting colors often pick out the hands and counters, while racing-inspired straps continue the theme beyond the case. The V6-44 translates much of the same vocabulary into a simpler automatic watch, with fewer dial elements competing for attention.

Customization is another important part of BRM’s character. Different combinations of case finishes, dial colors, hands, and straps can make examples of the same model look markedly different, without losing that unmistakable workshop-built silhouette.
