Explore Dan Henry
Dan Henry approaches watch design from the collector’s side of the table. The brand takes its name from a collector whose fascination with vintage watches informs the range: sector dials, racing chronographs, and divers with broad, legible markers. Rather than reproduce one famous reference, these watches draw on the details that gave an era its character. Each collection is named for a year, making the catalogue something like a tour through twentieth-century wristwatch design.
The 1964 Gran Turismo Chronograph captures the clean geometry of mid-century sporting watches, with contrasting registers and a tachymeter scale. Its Seiko VK63 meca-quartz movement pairs quartz timekeeping with a mechanically actuated chronograph. The 1937 Dress Chronograph takes a quieter route, using sector-style divisions and slender hands to evoke an earlier dial language.
For a different wrist presence, the 1970 Automatic Diver brings twin crowns and an internal rotating bezel. A Seiko NH35 automatic movement sits beneath a dial built around bold markers and strong color contrasts.
