Armida makes divers with a distinctly hands-on character: substantial cases, readable dials, and bezels that look ready for wet gloves rather than shirt cuffs. Founded in China in 2011, the brand belongs to the wave of small independent makers that gave enthusiasts more room to explore mechanical dive watches beyond the familiar Swiss and Japanese names.

The A1 is the natural place to start. Offered in steel and bronze, it pairs a broad rotating bezel with large luminous markers and hands. The bronze versions give that straightforward tool-watch design a different texture: the case darkens and changes with wear, while the dial remains clear and purposeful. Different sizes and configurations make the A1 a family rather than one fixed specification.

The A2 takes a more conventional approach to the steel diver, with familiar proportions and an uncluttered display. Across these collections, automatic movements, sapphire crystals, and screw-down crowns reflect Armida’s emphasis on practical construction, with dial colors and case finishes providing the variation.
