Explore Cuervo Y Sobrinos
Cuervo y Sobrinos brings a distinctly Cuban accent to Swiss watchmaking. Its story begins with a Havana watch and jewelry business established in 1882, and that city's taste for elegance still shapes the modern collection. These are watches with elaborate lugs, expressive numerals, and dials that give typography room to breathe—not exercises in anonymous restraint.
The Historiador is the clearest expression of that character. Its round case and sculptural lugs frame designs that draw on mid-century dress watches, with variations ranging from restrained three-hand layouts to chronographs and more involved calendar displays. The details matter here: the sweep of a lug, the arrangement of a scale, the contrast between a polished case and a richly colored dial.
For a different silhouette, the Prominente takes the rectangular route, with elongated proportions and a curved case that give it considerable wrist presence. The Espléndidos explores another angular, Art Deco-inflected direction, making case shape as much a part of the conversation as the dial.
