Crepas approaches the dive watch through the stranger, more purposeful shapes of the 1960s and 1970s: thick cases, broad bezels, and dials built to be read at a glance. The Spanish brand’s name abbreviates Compañía Relojera Especializada Para Actividades Subacuáticas, a fairly direct statement of intent. These are mechanical divers with a particular affection for the era when underwater equipment looked unmistakably like equipment.

The Tektite captures that approach especially well, with its substantial case, prominent bezel, and emphatic luminous markers. The Cayman takes a more angular route, giving its case geometry as much presence as its dial. Neither treats vintage inspiration as an exercise in adding creamy lume to an otherwise conventional watch; the proportions and construction do much of the storytelling.
