Explore Maratac
Maratac comes from the same practical world as CountyComm’s pocket tools, flashlights, and other purpose-built equipment. That connection explains more about its watches than any elaborate origin story could. The emphasis is on legibility and utility: dark dials, generous luminous markings, and little interest in using the dial as a billboard. Many models dispense with a front-facing brand name altogether.
The Pilot family is the clearest expression of that approach. The Large Pilot and Mid Pilot translate familiar aviation-watch cues into straightforward automatic watches, with bold Arabic numerals, a triangle at twelve, and crowns tucked down around four o’clock. The different sizes matter: they give the same uncluttered design distinctly different wrist presences without changing its basic character.
Maratac’s dive watches carry that equipment-first thinking underwater, adding rotating timing bezels and more substantial cases. Across the range, steel and titanium offer different takes on the same idea: a watch conceived as something to use, with the visual restraint of a well-designed instrument.
