Dietrich approaches watchmaking with a designer’s eye for shapes that feel familiar without being easy to place. Founded in Switzerland in 2013 by Emmanuel Dietrich, the brand reflects its founder’s background in product design. Rather than treating the case, dial, and strap as separate exercises, he brings them together as parts of one composition.

The OT-1, from the Organic Time collection, makes that approach tangible. Its rounded, six-sided case surrounds a layered dial where curved bridges, asymmetric displays, and a glimpse of the movement interrupt the usual clock-face order. There is plenty happening, but the shapes have a softness that keeps the watch from looking like a miniature industrial machine.

The TC-1, or Time Companion, takes a quieter route. A simpler dial shifts attention toward the case and integrated bracelet, whose repeating hexagonal links give it an unusually coherent silhouette. Beside the Organic Time watches, it shows how readily Dietrich’s design language can move between mechanical complexity and everyday restraint.
