Tiffany & Co.’s watch story has a distinctly architectural landmark: the Atlas figure supporting a clock above its New York storefront, installed in 1853. The jeweler later opened its own watch factory in Geneva in 1874. That connection to Swiss watchmaking runs deeper than the Tiffany signature enthusiasts know from dials made by other houses; watches bearing Tiffany’s own name deserve a separate look.

The Atlas collection brings the storefront clock’s Roman numerals to the wrist, often making them the dominant graphic element rather than a discreet hour track. The CT60, introduced in 2015, takes a more traditional route: round cases, Arabic numerals, and mechanical movements, with chronographs and calendar models broadening the range. Its design drew inspiration from a Tiffany watch owned by Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

Then there’s the East West, also introduced in 2015. Its rectangular case turns the dial sideways, making familiar Arabic numerals feel unexpectedly different. It’s a particularly clear expression of Tiffany’s willingness to treat a watch as a design object.
