CWC watches speak in the clipped language of military specifications: clear numerals, luminous hands, fixed strap bars and little that doesn’t serve a purpose. Cabot Watch Company was founded in 1972, and its story is closely tied to supplying the British armed forces. That working brief explains the family resemblance across watches built for very different duties.

The hand-wound W10 has a softened, tonneau-shaped case and a dial that gets straight to the point. The quartz G10 takes the same approach in a compact, rounded case; issued examples carry military markings on their backs. Neither needs much introduction once you’ve spent time around British service watches, where those broad-arrow dials are familiar company.

The divers bring a different silhouette. The Royal Navy Diver pairs a substantial rotating bezel with bold luminous markers, while the SBS Diver adds a black case finish and a day-date display. Fixed bars remain part of the design: these are watches conceived around a strap threaded securely through the case.
