Explore Zixen

Zixen comes from the small-brand dive-watch world, where a substantial case and a readable dial matter more than a familiar name. Originally called Zinex, it adopted the Zixen name in 2010. Its early Nitrox and Trimix established the vocabulary: broad bezels, generous luminous hands, and the muscular proportions of older diving equipment. These are watches with some heft, visually as well as physically.

The original Nitrox makes that approach particularly clear. Its 46mm steel case, thick sapphire crystal, and 500-meter water-resistance rating accompany a timing bezel designed to be handled easily. The dial gives the hands room to work, rather than crowding them with decoration. A bracelet with a wetsuit extension completes the picture of a watch conceived around diving.

The Trimix 44 1000m takes the same substantial construction into a smaller, 44mm case. Introduced in 2010, it offered several dial variations and an optional seven-row bracelet, whose fitted end links carry the case’s broad shape around the wrist.
