Before his name appeared on a dial, Michel Parmigiani spent years restoring antique watches and clocks. That work informs the Swiss manufacture he founded in 1996: proportions feel considered, decoration rewards a closer look, and mechanical ingenuity rarely needs to announce itself. Even the knurled bezel, a recurring signature, gives the fingers something the eyes already appreciate.

The Toric expresses that sensibility through classical round cases and carefully composed dials. The Kalpa takes a different route, with tonneau-shaped cases and movements developed to follow their contours. Both reveal a brand willing to work beyond the familiar round-watch template without abandoning the discipline of traditional watchmaking.

Introduced in 2021, the Tonda PF brought a quieter vocabulary to the integrated-bracelet watch: fine grain d’orge guilloché, restrained dial furniture, and a small oval PF emblem. The Tonda PF Micro-Rotor pairs that spare exterior with the slim automatic PF703 caliber. Its platinum micro-rotor keeps the winding mechanism from obscuring much of the movement—a useful detail for anyone inclined to turn a watch over.
