Revue Thommen’s aviation connection is more than a dial treatment. The Swiss name has appeared on cockpit instruments as well as wristwatches, and that practical streak runs through its watch designs: strong numerals, clear minute tracks, and hands that make themselves understood at a glance. Its watchmaking roots reach back to 1853, in Waldenburg, long before aircraft instruments became part of the story.

The Airspeed collection gives that connection its clearest expression. Pilot-style three-hand watches sit alongside automatic chronographs, with contrasting registers and prominent crowns and pushers. Chronograph references powered by the Valjoux 7750 bring a familiar mechanical personality: day-and-date displays, the characteristic three-register layout, and a rotor you can sometimes feel getting on with its work.

The Diver collection takes a different route, pairing rotating timing bezels with luminous markers and broader hands. These are more conventional sports watches than cockpit-inspired designs, but they show another side of Revue Thommen: straightforward Swiss mechanical watchmaking, with the emphasis on useful displays rather than elaborate decoration.
