MWC approaches the watch from the working end: clear numerals, useful lume, and cases that don’t need much explanation. Founded in Switzerland in 1974, the Military Watch Company has built its identity around military-style field watches, divers, and aviation designs. The family resemblance is strongest on the dial, where contrast and legibility generally take precedence over decoration.
The G10 is central to that story. Its round case, straightforward Arabic numerals, and quartz practicality follow the familiar vocabulary of the British military field watch. The W10 takes a different route, with a tonneau-shaped case and a dial layout rooted in earlier service-watch designs. These are recognizable shapes for anyone who enjoys the purposeful restraint of issued equipment, without needing every watch to carry an actual service connection.
MWC’s divers bring that same directness underwater: rotating timing bezels, prominent luminous markers, and sturdier cases. Across the range, fabric straps reinforce the utilitarian character, keeping the focus on the watch head rather than adding another layer of polish.
