The Tudor Pelagos LHD puts its crown on the left, but that’s only half the reason enthusiasts gravitate toward it. Cream-colored luminous details, red dial text and alternating red-and-black date numerals give this otherwise purposeful titanium diver a warmer, slightly mischievous character than the standard Pelagos.

Introduced in 2016, 25610TNL is the reference to know: there isn’t a succession of generations to untangle here. Each watch carries an individual number on its caseback, though this is a numbered series, not a limited edition. The crown arrangement suits right-wrist wear, but left-wrist wearers may also appreciate keeping the crown away from the back of their hand.

Pay particular attention to the ceramic bezel’s luminous markers and the bracelet clasp’s spring-loaded adjustment. That clasp accommodates changes in wrist size without constant fiddling; its smooth operation is worth confirming, especially if the bracelet is central to why you want a Pelagos.

What owners love

  • The crown on the left keeps it from digging into your hand when you wear it on the left wrist—you don't need to be left-handed to appreciate the layout. The titanium also makes it surprisingly light for a 42mm watch.
  • The bracelet's spring-loaded clasp can give a little as your wrist expands, which owners appreciate in hot weather. It's a genuinely useful part of the watch rather than just an elaborate clasp.
  • The cream-colored lume, red Pelagos text and alternating red-and-black date numerals give the LHD its own character. Owners often single out those details as the reason they chose it over the regular black Pelagos.

Common Criticisms

  • Light doesn't mean small: the case is thick, and the clasp is long and bulky underneath the wrist. It can feel awkward under a snug cuff even when the weight is comfortable.
  • The titanium picks up visible scuffs, particularly on the bracelet and clasp. Owners who like an unmarked finish can find that frustrating despite the otherwise practical, brushed construction.
