The Swatch Mission to Mars puts the MoonSwatch’s Speedmaster silhouette in a bright red Bioceramic case, but its best detail is the pair of rocket-shaped chronograph subdial hands. Those hands nod to Omega’s Alaska Project watches, whose white dials and red protective housings make this color scheme more than a planetary pun.

Introduced with the original MoonSwatch collection in 2022, SO33R100 is the reference to look for if that Alaska Project connection is what draws you in. The white dial keeps the red case from overwhelming the watch, while the supplied white hook-and-loop strap carries the contrast around the wrist. For regular wear, pay particular attention to the crystal: it is more susceptible to scratches than sapphire. And despite the familiar chronograph profile, its 30-meter water resistance makes this one to keep out of the pool.
