The Swatch Mission on Earth puts a pale green case around a deep blue dial, giving the MoonSwatch’s familiar Speedmaster outline a distinctly terrestrial palette. It’s one of the quieter combinations in the collection, though the asymmetric case, tachymeter bezel and three-register chronograph still give it plenty of visual bustle.

For this original green-and-blue version, look for SO33E100; the later Earth-themed releases are different watches, not revisions of this colorway. The Bioceramic case makes it much lighter on the wrist than its steel inspiration, while the supplied hook-and-loop strap is part of its deliberately casual character. On a used example, pay particular attention to scratches across the crystal and whether the chronograph hands return cleanly to zero. Despite the lunar styling, its modest water resistance calls for keeping it out of the pool.

What owners love

  • The pale-green case and dark-blue dial are the combination owners tend to single out: unusual without being as bright as some of the other MoonSwatches. The blue hands remain easy to pick out against the contrasting subdials.
  • It feels remarkably light on the wrist, despite the 42mm case. Owners who enjoy the Speedmaster-style dial layout like getting that look in something so easy to wear casually.

Common Criticisms

  • The original blue Velcro strap can feel stiff and bulky, particularly on smaller wrists. Swapping it for a softer 20mm strap is a common change among owners.
  • The crystal picks up scratches easily, and owners find that frustrating on a watch they want to wear every day. The lightweight case also feels distinctly plastic rather than solid or substantial.
