The Citizen Nighthawk makes a busy dial feel purposeful: an aviation slide rule around the edge, bold luminous markers, and a second-time-zone display unlike the usual GMT hand. On the familiar BJ7000, two aircraft-shaped pointers sweep across paired scales on the left side of the dial—a small piece of instrument-panel theatre that also earns its keep when you travel.

Start with that reference if it’s the distinctive Nighthawk layout you want; the name has appeared on other Citizen designs, so it isn’t enough by itself to identify this dial. Eco-Drive suits the watch’s practical character, but an example ticking at two-second intervals is signalling insufficient charge, not normal operation.
