The Cookie Monster puts a blue ceramic bezel around a black dial, giving the white-gold Submariner a sharper contrast than its blue-dial predecessor. It looks almost like steel at a glance, but the weight on your wrist tells a different story.

Introduced in 2020, 126619LB replaced the 116619LB, nicknamed Smurf, as the white-gold Submariner Date. The choice between them is partly about color: blue throughout on the older watch, blue reserved for the bezel here. The newer generation also brought slimmer lugs despite a slightly larger case, plus the 3235 movement—a meaningful distinction if you prefer the current Submariner’s proportions and longer power reserve.
