The Omega Speedmaster 3594.50 puts the broad-arrow hands and steel tachymeter bezel of the first Speedmaster into the familiar twisted-lug case of the Moonwatch. Often called the 1957 Replica, it is less a faithful reconstruction than a particularly handsome meeting of two Speedmaster generations.

Introduced in 1997, it retains the hand-wound caliber 1861 rather than adopting the automatic movement found in some later broad-arrow models. The applied Omega logo and absence of “Professional” on the dial give it a distinct identity, while those polished hands can disappear against the black dial at certain angles—a quirk worth experiencing before choosing one. For an example that preserves the reference’s character, pay particular attention to the broad-arrow handset and steel bezel: standard Moonwatch replacements change more than just the details.
