The Omega Seamaster GMT brings a second time zone to the Seamaster’s water-ready design, but the name covers more than one execution. The clearest dividing line is between the earlier steel-bezel models, with their prominent 24-hour scales, and the later blue-dial Co-Axial GMT, which pairs its extra hand with a conventional diving bezel.

The black-dial 2534.50 and white-dial 2538.20—usually called the Great White—are the familiar starting points. Both use the automatic caliber 1128, with an independently adjustable local-hour hand: useful when crossing time zones without disturbing the minutes or your home-time indication. Their 24-hour bezels give the GMT function visual priority. The white version’s dark hands and markers make it particularly easy to distinguish from its black-dial sibling.

The blue 2535.80 takes a different route, using the Co-Axial caliber 2628. Its wave-pattern dial, skeletonized hands and blue diving bezel bring it closer visually to the Seamaster Diver models, while the additional 24-hour hand retains the traveler’s function. Those bezel and movement differences matter more than the shared GMT wording.
