The Citizen Ana-Digi Temp puts two analogue dials, digital readouts and a temperature sensor into a compact rectangle that looks more like a miniature instrument panel than a conventional watch. Its charm is in that busy arrangement: every little window has a job, and learning your way around it is part of the pleasure.

Vintage examples offer the original period experience; later reissues are a good route if it’s the layout and wrist presence you’re after rather than an older electronic module. On either, make sure the LCD segments display fully and the pushers let you move through the functions. The thermometer deserves a little understanding, too: worn on the wrist, it picks up body heat, so give it time off the wrist before expecting a useful ambient reading.
