The Tudor Black Bay 58 Burgundy brings a burgundy sunray dial and matching bezel to the compact proportions that made the Fifty-Eight such a favorite. The dial does much of the work: it shifts with the light, giving this familiar diver a distinctly different character from its black- and blue-dial siblings.

Introduced in 2025, 7939A1A0RU is more than a color change: its movement carries METAS Master Chronometer certification, adding independently tested accuracy and magnetic resistance to the package. Don’t confuse it with the larger Black Bay models that pair a burgundy bezel with a black dial. Here, the choice is chiefly how you want to wear it: the three-link bracelet keeps the tool-watch feel, while the five-link option lends a dressier texture. Both bracelets—and the rubber-strap version—use Tudor’s T-fit clasp, whose tool-free adjustment is especially welcome on warmer days.

What owners love

  • The burgundy dial changes noticeably with the light: dark and almost black at some angles indoors, then a much livelier cherry red in sunlight. Owners like that it isn't constantly as bright as the colour might suggest.
  • The 39mm case is a big part of why owners choose this over the 41mm Burgundy. It keeps the red dial and bezel from feeling overwhelming, particularly on smaller wrists.
  • The five-link bracelet is repeatedly singled out as the combination that makes this version work. Owners like how it complements the sunburst dial, and the T-fit adjustment makes getting a comfortable fit less fiddly.
