The Seamaster 007 60th Anniversary brings back the blue waves of Bond’s 1995 GoldenEye watch, but pairs them with the mesh bracelet familiar from the No Time to Die model. It’s a particularly satisfying Bond edition if you want the connection expressed through design rather than a logo on the dial: even the bezel’s usual triangle gives way to a luminous “60.”

Introduced in 2022 to mark sixty years of Bond films, the stainless-steel 210.30.42.20.03.002 uses a blue aluminium dial and bezel, rather than the ceramic familiar from the regular Diver 300M. The no-date 8806 keeps the wave pattern uninterrupted. Turn it over and the caseback animates the opening gun-barrel sequence through a moiré effect driven by the seconds mechanism. Unlike the titanium No Time to Die edition, this is a steel watch with appreciably more heft; try the mesh clasp on your wrist, since its layered construction can feel bulky on smaller wrists.

What owners love

  • The blue aluminum dial and bezel have a softer, less glossy look than the ceramic Seamaster Diver 300M, and the smaller wave pattern is a big part of the attraction. The no-date layout and lollipop seconds hand give this version its own character.
  • The Bond connection is discreet from the front: there’s no big 007 logo on the dial. Turn it over and the animated gun-barrel sequence gives you the playful detail without making the watch feel like merchandise on the wrist.

Common Criticisms

  • The mesh bracelet’s folding clasp is bulky, particularly where the spare length doubles underneath it. Owners with smaller wrists can find that section stiff and awkward against the underside of the wrist, even when they like the mesh itself.
