The Christopher Ward C65 is a family of retro-minded sports watches, not a single diver with a choice of dial colors. Its branches run from restrained, fixed-bezel designs to hand-wound divers, GMTs and chronographs, with different case sizes and movements beneath the shared name.

The C65 Trident name reaches back to the family’s earlier sports watches; later Trident divers brought rotating bezels, box-shaped sapphire crystals and a more explicitly mid-century look. Hand-wound examples use the Sellita SW210, while automatic versions make winding method a meaningful distinction within the range. The C65 GMT adds a second time zone, but it isn’t the only C65 branch to offer that function. Dial signatures also changed over the years, so the Christopher Ward wordmark and twin-flags emblem help place an example in the family’s evolution.

The C65 Super Compressor takes a different mechanical route, with two crowns, an internal timing bezel and a genuinely pressure-responsive caseback construction. The C65 Aquitaine favors a rounded sapphire bezel insert, while the smaller C65 Dune moves toward compact, everyday proportions rather than the traditional rotating-bezel diver format.
