The Breitling Aerospace Evo is a pilot’s instrument that wears remarkably lightly: titanium keeps its broad case from becoming a burden, while hands and twin digital displays share the dial without fighting for attention. Its particular pleasure is having a chronograph, countdown timer, alarm and second time zone available through a single crown, rather than a flank crowded with pushers.

Introduced in 2013, the Evo brought a larger, more assertive case to the Aerospace line while retaining its distinctive ana-digi layout and thermocompensated Breitling 79 quartz movement. Choose it over an earlier Aerospace if you want more wrist presence, not a fundamentally different operating philosophy. The crown is central to that experience: make sure rotation, presses and pulls reliably select and operate the functions. Both LCD displays should be clear, and the backlight should illuminate them evenly—small details that matter on a watch whose usefulness extends well beyond its hands.
