Breitling’s Superocean Heritage Chronograph puts a busy chronograph dial inside the cleaner, more nostalgic outline of its retro diver. The broad arrow hour hand and mesh bracelet give it a character quite separate from the Navitimer: less cockpit instrument, more seaside sporting watch, though still unmistakably Breitling.

The important distinction is between the earlier aluminum-bezel watches and the later ceramic-bezel generation, then between movements within that newer family. The AB0162 uses Breitling’s B01, with a column wheel, vertical clutch, and roughly 70 hours of power reserve; the A13313 uses the familiar, Valjoux-derived Caliber 13. Choose the former for its chronograph architecture, not simply because it is newer. At 44mm, neither is discreet: pay attention to how the tall case sits, and whether the mesh clasp gives you a comfortable fit without landing awkwardly beneath your wrist.
