FS - 1960’s Vulcain World Timer $850 + shipping

Good morning all! One of my other hobbies wants a cash injection so I’m letting my vintage 1960’s Vulcain World Timer go.

This super cool piece has a chrome plated brass case, with an anodized aluminum city ring. Check out the cities on there! Bombay, Tokio, Cen Europe… Certainly a product of a long time ago.

Movement is a hand wound FHF36, 18,000bpm movement. Date is quickset by rocking the hour hand backwards and forwards between 9pm and 3am. Cool quirk of the movement, that’s for sure!

I can’t say I’ve worn it enough to detect any serious irregularities, but I would suggest that the buyer may want to get it serviced if you’re planning on wearing it a lot. If you’re throwing it on here and there like I do, should be right.

Now, what you’re no doubt wondering, how small is this thing? Vintage watches are tiny! Well this is a 38 square case - NOT including the crown. I’d say it wears similar to a first generation Monaco reissue. I’ve put a size comparison pic with a Speedy Pro. Definitely smaller but we’re not talking a 50’s seamaster bumper here.

Lugs are 22 and I’ve got it on a rubber strap, it came on a different strap (I believe it was a skinny rubber strap with a tang buckle) which I’ll send with it too.

There is a faint hairline crack in the domed acrylic plexi near the 4 o’clock marker, as well as a speck of dust under the dome at 10 o’clock. Very cheap fixes if you’re sending in for service and factored into the price.

Price is net to me, no trades but I’m open to reasonable offers. However, shipping is extra and I will ship at buyers choice of method and expense. You want tracking, insurance, etc, buyer will pay for it. I accept e-transfer in Canada or PayPal G&S. Watch and I are located in SW Ontario.
