The Tissot PRX draws its flat, angular case and integrated-bracelet silhouette from a Tissot design introduced in 1978, but the modern family has grown well beyond a single retro reissue. What ties the range together is the transition from case to bracelet: broad brushed surfaces, polished accents, and articulated links that give the watch much of its character on the wrist.

The modern revival began in 2021 with the PRX Quartz, followed by the automatic PRX Powermatic 80. In the familiar steel models, smooth dials generally signal quartz, while the embossed square-pattern dial is the automatic’s calling card. Both branches include 35mm and 40mm versions, so diameter alone won’t identify the movement; the automatic’s display back offers a clearer distinction.

The PRX Chronograph takes a different direction, with a larger 42mm case, three registers, and pushers flanking the crown. The PRX Digital instead replaces hands with an LCD display while retaining the family’s case-and-bracelet language. Material-led branches such as the PRX Forged Carbon extend the range beyond the brushed-steel look of the original modern releases.
