The Sinn 105 puts a surprisingly versatile bezel around a dial that stays clean and easy to read. Its orange accents and bead-blasted steel give it a different character from Sinn’s more traditional pilot watches: purposeful, but not entirely austere.

The choice is between the 105 St Sa, with day and date, and the 105 St Sa UTC, which trades the day display for a dedicated second-time-zone hand. The former’s bezel lets you time elapsed minutes or track another time zone without adding another hand to the dial; the UTC makes that second zone easier to follow continuously. Both use a black, hardened bezel with Sinn’s TEGIMENT treatment beneath the coating—not a treatment applied to the entire steel case. On a used example, distinguish marks on that bezel from marks on the softer, bead-blasted case, where refinishing can alter the original texture.
