The Hublot Classic Fusion puts the brand’s porthole bezel and rubber-strap origins into a slimmer, quieter vocabulary than the Big Bang. Six exposed bezel screws, contrasting polished and brushed surfaces, and a broad dial opening tie together a family that spans compact quartz watches, automatic three-handers, and more elaborate mechanical versions.

The familiar three-hand models pair baton markers with a date window, but diameter alone doesn’t tell the whole story: the range has included 33, 38, 42, and 45mm cases, with different movements beneath them. Introduced in 2023, the Classic Fusion Original looks back to Hublot’s 1980 debut with a glossy black dial stripped of hour markers. It’s a useful distinction from the more detailed dials of the established collection, rather than a wholesale replacement for them.

The Classic Fusion Chronograph adds registers and pushers, while the Classic Fusion Aerofusion opens up the dial to expose the mechanism. Classic Fusion Orlinski versions take a different route, replacing the usual smooth case surfaces with sharply faceted geometry. Material names matter, too: Classic Fusion King Gold identifies Hublot’s proprietary gold alloy, whereas Classic Fusion Titanium King Gold combines it with titanium.
