The Breitling Top Time Deus brings a little motorcycle-culture irreverence to a chronograph with roots in the 1960s. Its lightning-bolt chronograph hand and rounded-square counters give it a distinctive face without making the watch feel like a piece of collaboration merchandise.

The important distinction is between the earlier two-register Deus editions and the later three-register AB01765, introduced in 2023 with the manufacture Breitling 01. The latter pairs a black dial with contrasting white counters and adds an elapsed-hours register: useful if your timing extends beyond a short ride. Its column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph is also a meaningful mechanical step beyond the earlier movement, and the display back lets you see it. The earlier versions have their own charm, particularly their lighter dials, but they aren't simply different colors of the same watch; the movement and counter layout make these distinctly different choices.
