Endurance Pro

The Breitling Endurance Pro puts a quartz chronograph in a remarkably light Breitlight case, with a pulsometer scale bringing its sporting brief right onto the dial. Bright accents, substantial Arabic numerals and a compass-marked rotating bezel give the family a look distinct from Breitling’s steel aviation chronographs.

Introduced in 2020, the Endurance Pro 44 established the formula: a broad 44mm case, thermocompensated SuperQuartz chronograph movement and rubber strap, with color used to pick out the dial’s outer scale and crown. Breitlight is Breitling’s proprietary composite rather than a metal; its low weight is central to how these watches wear. The busy dial is purposeful, with elapsed-time counters sharing space with running seconds and the pulse-reading scale.

The Endurance Pro 38 arrived in 2024, reducing the diameter to 38mm without abandoning the composite case or quartz chronograph format. That makes size the clearest dividing line between the main versions, rather than a switch in movement philosophy. Both retain 100-meter water resistance, while their different proportions change the balance between the dial, bezel and strap on the wrist.
