The Breitling Avenger GMT puts a second time zone inside one of the brand’s most muscular designs, with rider tabs on the bezel and a crown built for a firm grip. Its charm is the contrast: unmistakably an Avenger, but without the chronograph pushers or busy subdials, giving the GMT hand room to do its job.

The earlier A32390, sold as the Avenger II GMT, and the later A32397, the Avenger Automatic GMT 43, are useful reference points when comparing generations. Both retain the 43mm steel format; choose between them for their dial treatment rather than expecting a fundamentally different GMT experience.

The Breitling 32 uses an independently adjustable 24-hour hand, not a jumping local-hour hand. That suits tracking another city from home better than frequent changes of local time. When handling one, test that separate GMT adjustment and check that the bezel’s raised rider tabs remain firmly secured.
