The SBGM221 is a model that helps define Grand Seiko as a brand. The proportions are perfect, and the oh-so-perfect dial transitions from light beige to ivory, depending on the lighting. A blued GMT hand draws contrast against the cream-tone dial and high-polished sword hands, matched to the blue GMT markers at each hour indicie. This watch is on a brown original GS Gator strap. It is hard to take your eyes off it—exercise caution when driving.  The watch **would be graded** in very good + to excellent condition. **However**, the watch has one small case blemish on the case side at 8 o'clock. I like to describe the watch condition accurately so the buyer has no surprises. This blemish is a small, shallow dent - hardly noticeable when worn. But when you know it is there, you know it is there.  There are no significant scratches or damage except the details I have described.  Every other aspect of the watch is very good + to excellent. I am not a watchmaker, so someone else would know how to treat this blemish if desired.  I value the deduction on condition at $250.
