I’m relisting this watch as I was unable to edit the original (price reduction). I’m offering my DOXA Sub 300T Professional watch for sale; I am the second owner of this time piece. This is the 316L stainless steel model with the iconic orange dial. The 20mm width beads of rice bracelet has a folding clasp with a ratcheting wet suit extension; all links are included. It has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflecting coating. The watch has a screw down crown and is rated for 1200 meters (4000 feet) water resistance. This model features a helium release valve and has a self winding automatic Swiss mechanical movement. Watch is in near mint condition and will come with all items you would get from a dealer if purchased new (manual, hang tag, warranty cards, case and original box). I ran the watch on my timegrapher with the following results: 0 spd, amplitude of 288, beat error of 0.1 ms. I am not interested in any trades and I am looking to get $1350 or best reasonable offer net to me (buyer picks up any fees) & I will pay CONUS shipping USPS Priority. I accept PayPal or Venmo. Doxa, founded in 1889 by Georges Ducommun, began as a maker of dress watches and other timepieces. Over the years, Doxa gained in size and branched out into other timekeeping markets. (Wristwatches, Armbanduhren, Montres-bracelets; Brunner, Gisbert L; Pfeiffer-Belli, Christian; Koneman, 2006)

In the late 1960s Doxa decided to devote resources to create a watch to be used for diving. Tests indicated that an orange face was more visible in murky water. Doxa also consulted with divers, including Jacques Cousteau, then chairman of "U.S. Divers," and Claude Wesly (a Cousteau companion and the first man to spend seven days thirty-three feet underwater). A staff of engineers and professional divers was assembled to create a watch with the required features. The Sub300t was purchased in quantity by U.S. Divers, who resold the watch in the United States.

The Jenny family of Switzerland now owns the brand. Since August 2002, Doxa has introduced re-editions of its watches and timepieces in limited quantities. Many are reproductions of the original models in design and construction, and all use Swiss movements.
