For sale is my Orient 60th Anniversary watch. It was only worn for special occasions as the watch has virtually no signs of wear anywhere on the watch. With that being said, crystal is also free and clear of any marks of scratches. The watch is running well, but unsure exactly how well as I didn't wear it too often. The winding of this watch feels almost new. Orient pulled all the strings out for this model as it is 22k gold plated instead of the usual 18k. Also, the 22k gold plate is 4 microns thick. Another thing that is special about this is that the crown is also signed Orient in the same font as the dial. This is powered by Orient's 48N40 movement, which was used exclusively for this model. The 22k gold case is gold plated. The caseback states that the case is "Gold Electroplate." To be considered that, a minimum thickness of 100 mills is required. A micron of gold plate equates to 40 mils. This Orient's 4 microns of gold plate equates to 160, which is well above the minimum to be considered "Gold Electroplate." This thick gold plating should easily last the serviceable lifetime of the watch. Unfortunately, I did not get the original box with this, so this is a watch only sale.
