Hello,

These are the quintessential ( in my book) Jacques Cousteau dive watches, comes
with full kit, uncut rubber strap, slightly used Doxa ratcheting Diver's Extension. It
also comes with a shark mesh bracelet that is sized for a 7-1/4" wrist, shark mesh
is easy enough to procure if you need to increase the size.

I have improved the watch in two major ways, if no buyer agrees, then i'll keep the watch

Improvement #1 was to have the watch relumed. the lume was cheaply and thinly printed
onto the dial. Do they expect us to keep a flashlight on our belt to recharge the lume when
that's necessary? Maybe so. I sent the watch to Kent at Everest Watchworks, he does
extraordinary lume work, and he relumed to dial and hands to the point where it is legible
through the longest night ( if charged for a few minutes, under a reading lamp.)

Improvement #2 was to have the watch head bead-blasted, this was done professionally
by Duarte Mendonca. Bead-blasting is a time-honored way of finishing Doxa, it gives a
durable tool finish to what to me looked to be an overly shiny/glitzy case.

There are two slight dings around 10 o'clock on the west side of the case, i have highlighted
them in the harshest sunlight. the lower one is a little worse but is way less visible, the two
of them together have never bothered me, in fact it feels a little like a relief to have them,
as these are not so bad, and, they're bound to happen sooner or later. i should say, i have
only worn this watch once a month, i have swum in fresh water with it, but never salt. it's
lived a sheltered life. And, the dings are really visually exaggerated by the camera.

Dimensions are 42mm x 45mm x 13.4mm including the box sapphire dome, which doesn't really
add thickness to the watch visually, so it really looks/feels like an 11.5mm dive watch, and this
is with 300m/980' of water resistance.

This watch is COSC certified as a chronometer, and i have never, ever seen it deviate more
than one or two seconds over a 24 hour period. It has always been my most accurate mechanical
timepiece.

These go for $2450 new, the bracelet alone is $440...i am asking for $1,500 Paypal f&f, OBRO.
Postage is included to all 50 United States, Puerto Rico, etc...there will be an additional charge
to mail to other countries, which is whatever USPS charges me. but i will be happy to do so,
and it's not so bad.
