A must-try legend in the industry, IWC has made their fame primarily with pilots watches and chronographs - but don't sleep on their aquatic line. The Aquatimer is about as robust as a practical luxury diver gets. Great finishes, one of the most reliable movements in the industry, a very wearable case/design, and simple features that won't require a manual to operate. This Aquatimer can dive deeper than any human would ever practically dive, and it'll do it with style and high legibility. IWC makes great use of a proprietary rubber strap system with built in quick-release, but the strap is so nice that I'm not sure you'll ever want to remove it, save for a bracelet. Don't let the 44mm case size scare you, either - this watch wears only slightly larger than a comparable Omega SMP 300, and pretty much step for step with the modern Planet Ocean lineup.
