Up for sale is my Seiko SSK003 GMT, aka the Blueberry with it's half black, half blue bezel and blue dial. The watch is in excellent condition. I've only worn it on the jubilee bracelet a handful of times so it is in excellent condition without any marks. When I do wear it, I wear it on the orange nylon braided strap.

Also included is a thick mesh bracelet which has only been worn 4-5 times. Both that and the nylon strap feature QR pins for easy removal. The original box, hang-tags, pillow, additional links, and pins are all included. The jubilee bracelet is sized for my 7.5" wrist, as is the other straps, but those can quickly be adjusted.

The only trades i'm interested in are for a Zelos Swordfish Field 38mm Bronze Burnt Orange and some of the other Swordfish Field 38mm SS colorways. I would be willing to add $100 to this trade of course. Haim Legacy mechanical models, Hamiltons, other automatic & mechanical watches. Willing to add $100 to the deal for a trade up.

The company was founded in 1881, when Kintarō Hattori opened a watch and jewelry shop called "K. Hattori" (服部時計店 Hattori Tokeiten?) in the Ginza area of Tokyo, Japan. Eleven years later, in 1892, he began to produce clocks under the name Seikosha (精工舎 Seikōsha?), meaning roughly "House of Exquisite Workmanship". According to Seiko's official company history, titled "A Journey In Time: The Remarkable Story of Seiko" (2003), Seiko is a Japanese word meaning "exquisite" or "success" ("exquisite" is usually written 精巧 from Chinese jīngqiǎo, while the meaning "success" is usually written 成功 from Chinese chénggōng).

Seiko is perhaps best known for its wristwatches, all of which were at one time produced entirely in-house. This includes not only major items such as microgears, motors, hands, crystal oscillators, batteries, sensors, LCDs but also minor items such as the oils used in lubricating the watches and the luminous compounds used on the hands and the dials.
