Hi all, up for sale is my Candino 1000m diver, made in the 70s and shares similar case and dial design with others like DPW, Dugena, Luxor to name a few.
If you're looking at this, you probably know of this range of retro divers that were also issued to some quarters of the Marine Nationale and Comsubin.

Anyway, the important stuff:

Runs well, date changes almost at midnight just a few mins before, crown screws down with approx 1 to 2 finger rolls , but with all vintage divers, do be careful when trying to engage the threads. This one, like most other vintages, needs a bit more care when trying to engage the threads - the counter-clockwise turn while pushing in the crown to engage
works well here. Once engaged it's smooth as butter to screw down.

Condition of the case is almost brand new, save for a bit of scratches under the lugs from strap changes, and some rash next to the crown as seen in the photos.

There's a thin film of oil or some sort under the crystal between 2 to 4 oclock too, easily remedied at next service should you feel the need, but i hardly notice it unless the sun hits it at the right angle.

All in all, it's a great piece in great condition - a lot of these i've seen have worn bezels and inserts, this one looks very new save for the minor cosmetic issues above.

Even comes with what looks like the original strap, also in almost new condition.
