Seiko’s motivation for this watch was to make their quartz technology as thin (only 6 mm thick) and lightweight (at just 29 grams including the leather strap) as possible. The result was Seiko’s Galaxy series where the watch can be easily worn under the cuff of a shirt and be compatible with any wardrobe. The watch has a stunning textured golden snowflake dial with great attention to detail especially when you view the dial under magnification (please see the video and photo album that contains closeup photos of the dial). Everything on the watch works perfectly and it keeps great time. The watch is in flawless condition and still has all of its tags as if you bought it directly from 1996.
