Hey all! Here is for sale a gorgeouse Omega Chronostop 145.009 145.010 Blue Dial from 1968 according to 27 million serial number. Watch is in excellent condition, for sale is the watch only. Case measures 35mm excluding crown, 39mm lug-to-lug, 12mm thick and a 18mm lug width. Case is in great condition, has signs of wear but no major dings or scratches. Caseback has double reference 145.009 145.010 Crystal is acrylic and has no blemishes. Crystal has Omega logo engraved in center. Crown has Omega logo, chrono pusher works perfect. Best thing right here is the dial, it has a deep blue color and contrast white inscriptions Omega Chronostop Geneve, white racing outer track and T Swiss Made T on the bottom. Lume on black and white hands the lume on the dial. Orange chrono hand matches the orange Omega logo. Please check lumeshot in Imgur gallery. Movement is manual wind Omega caliber 865 with chrono monopusher, at the moment of sale movement keeps +18 sec/day, please check timegrapher pic in Imgur gallery. Chronograph function works well, chrono hand returns to 12 o’clock perfectly, please check the video in Imgur gallery. Strap is brand new 18mm blue leather DiModell handmade in Germany. Watch looks gorgeous due to its uncommon shape, great preserved condition, deep blue dial and strap combination. Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
