On offer today is my beautiful SBDC165 – the JDM variant of the SPB297, part of Seiko’s 62MAS collection.  The striking feature of this watch is the textured glacier blue dial.  As I’ve tried to show in the pics that this watch is in excellent condition (9.0/10). One of the things I loved about another 62MAS model, the SPB149, was the gold sweep second hand, so when I picked up this piece I had a watchmaker swap out the OEM second hand with a gold one (see pics). This makes this piece perhaps the most unique SBDC165 on the planet.  As pictures show – no signs of wear on bracelet or strap.  Case, crystal and bezel are in flawless condition.  Bezel alignment is perfect. Goes without saying that the Lumbrite on this one is pretty fantastic. **Also includes an Uncle Jubilee bracelet for the 62MAS, sized for 7" wrist, includes all spare links.** Timegrapher indicates +5-7 seconds per day (beat error is 0.0ms), but on the wrist more like +10 seconds per day I love this watch but I need to fund an expensive watch I just purchased for my son as his wedding gift.
