Hi again folks! Excited to be able to offer a very unique vintage Omega, the silver dial Seamaster 176.005 “Blue Jedi” chronograph!  Produced in the mid 1970’s, it has a very modern wearing case at 42mm x 49mm x 16mm thick and is powered by the Omega Caliber 1040 automatic chronograph movement with central seconds and minute counters. Condition wise it is in beautiful vintage cosmetic condition. The good: ·       The case lines are crisp and the brushed / polished finishes are in great shape with very light vintage wear. There is only one tiny micro ding on the bezel at 8 o’clock. ·       The crystal is in great shape, no nicks, cracks or scratches are visible to me under harsh lighting ·       The dial and handset are gorgeous, the hints of teal blue on the hands and subdials are incredible in the sunlight! The tritium lume pips are faded and still present. ·       The OEM bracelet and clasp are in amazing condition and is huge – with the adjustable clasp it will likely fit a 8”+ wrist ·       It comes with OEM outer and inner boxes (inner box is peeling), a warranty card holder (no cards, peeling) and a mint instruction manual! Where it needs love – the movement will need a full service: ·       It does hand wind and the time and quick set date functions seem to be working properly. The pushers also feel very crispy and spring right back. The reset pusher seems to be functioning. ·       The start / stop pusher however does not engage the central seconds hand. ·       The amplitude feels low, although I haven’t attempted to give it a full wind.
