This reference is powered by the robust Caliber 751, a chronometer-grade automatic movement equipped with both day and date functions, making it one of the most versatile models of its period. The watch features a 35mm stainless-steel case, maintaining the elegant proportions typical of the Constellation series while offering excellent wrist presence. The silver satin-finished dial remains beautifully preserved, with applied hour markers, center seconds, and framed day/date windows positioned cleanly at 3 o’clock. The applied Omega logo and Constellation star complete the timeless look. The dial is protected by an Omega-signed plexiglass crystal, and the steel bezel carries a satin finish that complements the overall design. The caseback features the signature Observatory medallion, sharply embossed and symbolic of Omega’s achievements in chronometer competitions. The watch comes fitted with a leather strap (or steel bracelet if desired), enhancing its versatility for both casual and dress wear. The signed Omega crown, signed movement, signed case, and signed crystal confirm the full originality of this example. Powering the watch is the Omega Cal. 751, a 24-jewel automatic movement operating at 19,800 BPH, equipped with Incabloc shock protection, smooth regulation, and the convenience of instant day/date setting. Known for its reliability and accuracy, the Cal. 751 remains one of Omega’s best-performing movements from the era. This example remains in great condition, showing light wear consistent with age with no dents. Case and caseback shows well-preserved shapes. The dial is clean with a hint of patinas. Crystal is clean and in great shape. It comes fitted on custom brown straps with yellow gold Omega buckle. The watch has been serviced and it currently keeps great time at +/-5s a day.
