CHRISTOPHER WARD C65 TRIDENT GMT Straight Sale: $750 + shipping Trade value: $850 I’m always willing to see what you have This CWard GMT is a work of art. The case is done in a way that you’ll catch yourself starring at it. The case has many facets that will draw the most discerning eye. That wasn’t enough, they popped on a Box Sapphire! This would be enough for most companies in this price point, but not CW. The case back design is very fitting 4 a diver, a Trident. You’ll also see it on the seconds hand. Awesome! Running this watch is an ETA 2893-2 mvnt, & it’s running beautifully. Bezel is tight & aligns as it should. The crown is smooth like a fresh jar of skippy! Christopher Ward was founded by Chris Ward, Mike France and Peter Ellis on a boat on the river Thames in 2004.

In 2005, Christopher Ward released their first watch which created a whole new model for the watchmaking industry. When influential watch bloggers wrote about their watches on TimeZone, Christopher Ward were being discussed more than Rolex in December 2005.

For the company’s 10th anniversary in 2014, it merged with Swiss manufacturing partners Synergies Horlogères SA to create Christopher Ward London Holdings Ltd. This culminated in the launch of Christopher Ward’s first in-house movement, Calibre SH21, in July 2014. Conceived and designed over the past four years by Christopher Ward’s watchmaker, Johannes Jahnke, the SH21 is entirely Swiss-made by some craftsmen. This release is said to be “probably the most important development by a British watch brand in the past 50 years.”

Christopher Ward London was the only watch company to rank in The Sunday Times SME Export Track 100, ranking 77th in 2015.
