**Tag Heuer Monza WR2110** My exposure to Tag Heuer, prior to owning this Monza, was always their Aquaracer lineup, which I love. It also shaped my opinion of the brand to be more geared towards sporty styles, like the Formula 1 series. I didn’t think of them for an every day, casual time piece. That changed when I tried this Monza on for the first time. It wears like an absolute dream! Light and comfortable, it disappears on wrist at only 10mm thick. Reliably powered by Tag’s Cal. 6 automatic movement and protected by sapphire crystal (what you’d expect), it really does the job. A combination of brushed and polished surfaces make this watch not too dressy and not too casual, it really can be worn in any setting beyond the beach. The 20mm lug width also make it a strap monster. Lume on the handset (hours, minutes and small seconds) and hour pips is a nice touch and one that, I find, really helps the watch show that it can be fun too! It was completely overhauled in 2021 (service receipt included, $1120 CAD was the damage) and regulated again in 2023 (receipt lost unfortunately). It comes with the original leather strap and clasp, and I will also include a brown Hirsh leather strap (pictured) as well.
