Hi everyone, for sale today is an Omega Constellation 14393

1. General introduction
A stainless steel Omega Constellation 14393, 34.5mm, damaged original champagne cross-hair sunburst dial.
Brand: Omega; Model: Constellation; Reference: 14393.

2. Detail

Dial: Original champagne cross-hair sunburst dial, has some damaged as showed in photos below. Applied Omega logo as well as an faceted date-aperture frame; onyx inserted hour markers; dauphine hands; no lume, no onyx or black paint on hands and hour markers; all the prints are visible; there are some oxidation on hour markers and hands.
Case: The diameter is 34.5mm without the crown. Original case in fair condition with scratches. Original thin Omega ten-sides crown.
Movement: Caliber 561 in good condition. The watch is running, all functions work as they should. Serial number is 18848844, dated to 1961. Last service in November 2024.

Glass: Generic glass has visible scratches near the center, between 8 and 9 (as seen in photos below).
Strap: Leather strap with aftermarket Omega buckle.
Accessory: Watch only.

3. Payment and shipping

Priced: 750 Euro NET to me, with shipping fee by UPS in EU included. The watch is located in Budapest, Hungary.

Founded at La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland in 1848 by 23-year-old Louis Brandt who assembled key-wound precision pocket watches from parts supplied by local craftsmen. He travelled throughout Europe selling his watches from Italy to Scandinavia by way of England, his chief market. After Louis Brandt's death in 1879, his two sons Louis-Paul and Cesar, troubled by irregular deliveries of questionable quality, abandoned the unsatisfactory assembly workshop system in favour of in-house manufacturing and total production control. Due to the greater supply of manpower, communications and energy in Bienne, the enterprise moved into a small factory in January 1880, then bought the entire building in December. Two years later the company moved into a converted spinning-factory in the Gurzelen district of Bienne, where headquarters are still situated today. Their first series-produced calibres, Labrador and Gurzelen, as well as, the famous Omega calibre of 1894, would ensure the brand's marketing success.
