for sale i offer this nice JLC Polaris Date with reference Q9068670 (842.8.37) (5900,- EUR)
The watch is from March 2022 and I am the first owner and still have the original bill.
Watch comes obviously in full set on orignal rubber strap, with box, papers + an additional JLC brown leather strap.
The watch just came back from my AD from the 2 year check, and has new gaskets and has been checked that everything is fine with timekeeping (not that i had a problem, but it was included in original sale).
I have been wearing the watch almost daily for the first year, and only very seldom in the second year. The watch is no safe queen but i have not abused it unnecessarily. It has some swirls and a few nicks but nothing major in my opinion. The bigger nicks are on the bottom right lug and on the case/bezel between 5 and 6 oclock. I tried to photograph this details as good as i can. if you wish more photos let me know.
The watch has been running great for the past 2 years as i would expect from JLC, but i must admit i am not so much into logging every single day how many seconds the watch gains or looses a day
The highlight of the watch is this amazing dial, as one can see under magnification in the photos. It features 3 different finishing techniques: opaline finish on the inner bezel, grainy texture the the numerals ring and the sunburst finish in the middle of the dial. The sunburst finish is very hard to notice in the normal light conditions, but it pops in the sunlight. The lume has nice vanilla colour, and is super strong. It glows all night, and i dont have problems reading the time during the night.
The case diameter is 42mm, the watch wears really comfortable on the wrist, and has a tight profile with its short curved lugs. also the two crowns position that they dont dig into your wrist.
A few people stated that the watch wears larger than the 42mm. I guess this is refered to the large dial opening, and the illusion of a larger watch, but the wearing comfort i definitely on the par with smaller watches.
The reason why i want to part with it, is i want something new and a bit different for my daily wearing. Most likely i will badly regret this move
Generally i would prefer a sale, but i would maybe consider a trade or partial trade.
